Since its establishment in 1999, Deltason Trading Ltd.'s mission statement has been "Quality is our Priority". It is our aim to provide North Americans with fresher and higher quality food products, with more variety.

In 1999, Deltason was granted a seafood import licence from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, and commenced importing fresh and live seafood from the Far East.

The following year, Deltason was granted a Canadian fresh fruit and vegetable import licence, and has become one of the major importers of fresh produce to the Canadian market. In 2001, we opened Veggie Depot Produce, a specialized produce wholesale warehouse operation. 

In adhering to our mission statement of providing superior quality products, an exclusive agreement with SunBlush Technologies was signed, and we successfully introduced a state of the art technology, Modified Atmosphere Packaging, to maintain the freshness and quality of imported produce to North America.

We are a member of both the Canadian Produce Marketing Association and the British Columbia Produce Marketing Association. To support fair and quality trading in produce, we also participate in the credit rating assement by the Blue Book Services. Through participation in annual Canadian Produce exhibitions we have successfully brought fresh, quality Asian produce to the mainstream market.

In 2002, Deltason introduced "Chiu-Chow Fish Ball" products to the Canadian Market. This product immediately became a popular item. To keep up the momentum, we introduced "Senbo Fish Products Series" and, with the support of a television, radio, newspaper and magazine advertising campaign, are providing Canadian customers fine quality, authentic delicacies from Asia.

Deltason welcomes the opportunity to work with all suppliers and retailers. We aim to have an even wider variety of quality produce and Asian delicacies in order to meet the needs of our individual clientele.
