酥炸魷魚圈配蒜蓉檸檬蛋黃醬

Deep Fried Squid Rings with Garlic and Lemon Mayonnaise

材料:

• Smart Choice魷魚圈300克
• 麵粉150克
• 辣椒粉1/2茶匙
• 鹽1/2茶匙
• 蛋1隻,打勻
• 油適量(炸魷魚用)
蒜蓉檸檬蛋黃醬材料:
• 蛋黃醬7安士
• 蒜頭1瓣,磨蓉
• 檸檬1/2個,榨汁

Ingredients:

• 300g Smart Choice Squid Ring
• 150g plain flour
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 egg, beaten
• Vegetable oil, for deep frying
For the mayonnaise:
• 7 oz mayonnaise
• 1 garlic clove, crushed
• 1/2 lemon, juiced

做法:

1. 調勻所有蒜蓉檸檬蛋黃醬材料,備用;
2. 將Smart Choice魷魚圈解凍、洗淨、瀝乾水及用廚房紙完全抹乾;
3. 把麵粉、辣椒粉及鹽放入一密實袋內調勻,將魷魚圈分幾次放入搖動,確保所有魷魚圈都均勻地沾上麵粉;
4. 在鑊或大平底鍋內放入半滿油,中火燒熱至180C/350F;
5. 將裹上麵粉的魷魚圈沾上蛋液,小心地放入熱油中炸2-3分鐘至金黃色;放廚房紙上吸去多餘油份;
6. 配上蒜蓉檸檬蛋黃醬,趁熱享用。

Instructions:

1. For the mayonnaise, mix all the ingredients together and set aside.
2. Defrost the Smart Choice squid rings, washed, drained, and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
3. Mix the flour, paprika and salt in a large sandwich bag. Drop in the squid rings in few batches and shake around to ensure each squid ring is coated evenly.
4. Place enough oil in a wok or large saucepan (half or up) over medium heat. Heat the oil to 180C/350F.
5. Dip the floured squid rings into the beaten egg and then carefully drop into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes until golden. Remove from the oil and briefly drain on kitchen paper before serving.
6. Serve hot with the garlic and lemon mayonnaise.
